learndirect Business eCourses are designed to be fully "self contained", with no need for a tutor. We do not usually provide tutorial help with understanding and working through the course content. The exception is where you have purchased from an eCourses Reseller who offers support as extra benefit (please check with your Reseller about the level of support that they provide).
We do provide technical help in the event that a course doesn't run (although we do not undertake to fix any technical problems with your PC, network or internet access). Please ensure that your PC meets the required technical specification before you buy. We recommend that you read the Technical Requirements found in the course description and try the relevant sample course (where available) to ensure that the course will play on your PC.
Can I get help from my local learndirect centre if I get stuck?
No. learndirect Business eCourses are designed to be "self contained", with no need for a tutor - ideal, in fact, for learning from the workplace or at home.
The exception is where you have purchased your eCourse from a learndirect centre (eCourses are available from some, but not all, learndirect centres) and they have offered you support as extra benefit.
Is there any funding to help to pay for learndirect business eCourses?
No. learndirect Business eCourses are priced at our standard market rate and are not funded. On the main learndirect website , you can find details of centre-supported courses that are funded for certain learners in England (specifically for courses that are "skills for life" or for certain learners that may be progressing towards a qualification). Please note that those centre-supported courses are not part of the learndirect Business eCourses offer.
